Twitter Suspensions
Months of building, months of nurturing…gone in a flash..this was my second time..and literally 2 days of my life gone…spent in an absolute tizz…and frenzy writing support tickets..begging for an answer to the almighty question… what I’ve done wrong? Please tell me so it wont happen again..and you know what you get…if your lucky you get unsuspended..if you’re less fortunate you get a “this ticket will not get resolve” message with no explaination. This time my accounts were restored..but I must admit..the fun of twitter is slowly being robbed..its like you have to walk on TweetShells. I fear any automation and even new followers..I now screen all of them. Autofollow can even unknowingly get you in hot water. I guess from a social media prospective..we really shouldnt be putting all out tweets in one basket..:-) ..If I don’t laugh, I’ll cry!
This time Twitter owned up to the error claiming human error shut the accounts down mistakenly. And they did resolve far quicker than I’ve seen in the past. Although down for many hours I havent noticed too many lost followers..For that I am greatful! However, it doesn’t take away the absolute embarrassment and degradation everyone feels when they’ve been accused, tried and convicted of being a spammer with not even an opportunity to defend themselves. I hope everyone got restored just as quickly as I did.
